Now Out: 666 Flags: A Fundraising Anthology
Recently, the author of Starving Zoe, C. Derick Miller, was let go from his day job due to the content in his writing. In response to this egregious action, PsychoToxin Press put together an anthology to raise funds for a legal defense fund for indie authors and presses.
The result, 666 Flags, contains my sci-fi bizarro horror story “The Sex of Tomorrow.” It’s a story I’m very proud of, so I hope you all will pick it up. It’s for what I believe to be a good cause.
Pick up the eBook here or pick up the dead tree version here. 100% of your money goes to the fund if you get the eBook, so consider picking that up even if you get the physical copy.
Thank you to PsychoToxin for having me as a part of this!
Noise, Noise, Noise
Recently, I was featured on the podcast Rock is Lit, hosted by author and journalist Christy Alexander Hallberg. I had a great time speaking with her about my novel from Malarkey Book, Music is Over!
Be sure to listen to the whole thing, because after my interview, there’s a great one with author David Novak on his book Japanoise and the music genre that it’s named after.
Thanks for the great interview Christy!
Listen to it on Christy’s website or anywhere you stream podcasts.
The Malarkey and the Misery
Speaking of Malarkey Books, in association with Misery Tourism, they’re holding a Zoom reading on 07/07/2023 at 8 PM EST/7 PM CST. I’ll be among the the readers and, in spite of that, it’s sure to be a good time.
Watch the Twitter feeds of Misery Tourism and Malarkey Books for the link the day of.
Stay Tuned
I sent the final edits for my upcoming novel, Saturday Morning Mind Control, to the publisher last week. The expected release date is sometime in late July. Expect an announcement and cover reveal here soon.
Filthy Lucre
I recently turned on paid subscriptions to this Substack. Anyone who decides to upgrade to paid, I’m deeply grateful.
While I likely will eventually put paid content here at some point, for now it’s just a way to throw me some beer money if you like my work.
Thanks again to all my readers!
