A Stop at Bizarro Central
If you notice that my Substack has slowed down in the past few months, this is because I’ve been primarily writing online at Bizarro Central. Bizarro Central has also slowed down a little due the editors taking on a lot of responsibilities in regards to promoting and selling the Bizarro genre, so I need to take matters a little more in my hands to keep this updated.
Of course, you should still keep your eyes on bizarrocentral.com for more from me and on Bizarro fiction in general.
Festivals End, as Festivals Must
Speaking of Bizarro, I was recently at the Printer’s Row Lit Festival in Chicago with the Bizarro Writer’s Association run by Michael Allen Rose and Sauda Namir. Also at the table was fellow Malarkey Books author Lauren Bolger and the indomitable John Bruni. We shared a tent with Dead Sky Publishing and Whiskey Tit, as well as Lucky Jefferson.
I had a great time seeing everyone, talking about books with people at the fest, and selling my work. I’m proud to say my entire stock sold out.
You can still get my work through the usual places; Amazon, Godless, and signed copies of Music is Over! are still available through the Malarkey Bookstore.
The Circus is in Town
My Bizarro short story, “The Garfield Phones from the Ocean,” will be the new Anthology, Bizarro Circus of Madness, edited by Riley Odell. The release date is Nov. 4.
The book is currently available for pre-order on Kindle.
We’re Just the Gravel on the Road
As part of 31 Days of Godless, my short story, “Gravel on the Path,” will be releasing on 10/19. I think it’s a good, creepy story, so keep an eye out for it.
